Caher Lodge is a luxury 2-storey purpose-built golf lodge, very spacious and beautifully laid out on its own private and secure grounds. Caher Lodge has panoramic views overlooking Bantry Bay and Glengarriff Harbour with the majestic Hungry Hill as part of the picturesque backdrop. Situated between the 14th green and the 15th tee at Bantry Bay Golf Club, and only 200 metres from the clubhouse, it is the perfect place for the serious golf holiday. Any guest is truly spoilt for choice. If you don't wish to golf, you can take advantage of our private on-site leisure centre. This comprises of a family size (10m x 4.5m) indoor heated swimming pool and steamroom, with shower facilities, as well as a generous recreation and lounge area. If you feel energetic, there is an on-site tennis court, private putting green and an outdoor heated barbeque area. The lodge is designed to sleep up to eight adults in comfort, in four en-suite rooms. Three of which have both a king sized bed as well as a single bed. The fourth is a twin room. Each bedroom is fitted with telephone, TV/video (with CNN and sports channels), and an ISDN access point. A daily, cleaning and linen service is provided for guests. Babysitting services are also available on request. As well as the family size swimming pool and tennis court which are part of our complex, you can avail of Guided Hill-Walking Tours, Pony Trekking, Horse Riding, Fishing and Sea Angling, there are some excellent salmon rivers nearby, such as the Bandon, Ilen and Coomhola, and lakes too numerous to mention. We also boast Watersports and Adventure Centres, Stately Homes and Historical Sites. Add in some world famous restaurants, great pubs, excellent live music and loads of 'craic' and you can see . . . it really is time for a change!
