Skibbereen (Irish: An Sciobairín), is a town in the South West of Ireland. The name "Skibbereen" (often shortened to "Skibb") means "little boat harbour." Skibbereen is the capital of West Cork, It is the centre for all the agricultural, industrial and tourist activities of a wide region.
